Many times the desire has come to me to express my gratitude for the numerous benefits I have received through the teaching and application of Christian Science. The truth was presented to me many years ago at a time when I was in need of physical healing, and after I had tried many material remedies without result. Since taking up the study of Christian Science I have been healed of functional as well as organic diseases, sometimes instantaneously. With each experience came not only the healing, but a fuller and better understanding of God and my relationship to Him.

I wish to relate one healing which occurred when I was very young in Christian Science, and which has meant a great deal to me. The condition was blood poisoning, supposedly caused from an infected finger. The pain, which was very severe, extended down my whole side, and the family insisted that I do something immediately. I called a Christian Science practitioner, and in twenty minutes the pain left me and I went to sleep. In only a few days the finger was normal. The assurance in the Bible (Hebr. 4:12) that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," was proved true.

Another healing was of a condition caused by an automobile accident, which left me paralyzed from my waist down and suffering from internal injuries. A practitioner took up work for me and I was healed in a short time. I could enumerate many other physical healings, as well as mental and financial ones. Also much fear has been eradicated.
