Do you think to help His might?
Do you have a vision more pure?
Are you aware of a mightier power?
Be still, and know that He is God.
Your vanity of self-righteousness,
Your hypocrisy of saying, not doing,
Will give you tasks twice burdened
With sanctimony.
The humble Son of God, who trod
Such lowly paths here below,
Is ensample perfect for your
Deed. Open your blind eyes!
Banish self-love! Love then
Your brother with tender compassion!
Love is the only power.
Joy banishes all dread. Truth
Of your sonship with Him
Annuls all mortal law. Praise
Him, your helper, your keeper, and
Love then none other. This is
The law cleansing unto ascension.
