I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have received in Christian Science during the past twenty years. I am happy to say it has met my every need when it has been earnestly applied and put into practice.

I have been healed of spinal trouble in a very severe form; also of stomach ulcers, when diets and every other material aid had failed. The latter healing took place on a Thanksgiving Day seventeen years ago, when, after many months of patient study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and the loving help of a practitioner, I still manifested much fear at the sight of food and also was distressed after eating. However, on this day, when my family sat down to dinner and my mother lovingly encouraged me to eat, I felt absolutely no fear of food, as these words from the Bible had come to me that morning on the way to church (Gen. 1:26), "And God said,... Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air." I realized once and for all that as a child of God I already had that dominion, and I ate a delicious dinner without a trace of any discomfort.

Another healing which has given me much comfort when I have had other problems to work out, is the following experience of my young son. I received a note one day from the school nurse saying that the child was totally deaf in the left ear. At first, this news completely overwhelmed me, but later, when I was able to think coherently, I prayed for guidance.
