Christian Science Committee on Publication for Iowa Reports

A review of the activities of this office through the previous year reveals that even though certain prevailing restrictions on the use of newspaper space have slightly decreased the amount of publicity usually granted us, we have experienced very little interference with the carrying on of our work.

The printing of our weekly Lesson-Sermon excerpts has continued with but slight curtailment, so that these items have appeared about four thousand times through the year. Thus, many newspaper readers still have had placed before them the all-important fact that in our church services we use the Bible quite as much as Science and Health.

Much helpful information has likewise been imparted to a large number of persons through the printing of the religious articles from The Home Forum page of The Christian Science Monitor in local newspapers. Approximately eighty of these articles have appeared in this way through the year, and all of them have presented some phase of the application of Christian Science to the happifying of daily living.
