While I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, I have been healed of many things.

One healing that seemed almost miraculous at the time was accomplished with the help of a practitioner. One evening I was sitting in a porch chair when it suddenly broke, causing me to fall on the cement and strike my spine. The pain was intense, but as soon as I reached the telephone and talked with a practitioner the pain disappeared, and no injurious results followed.

At another time when I had an attack of influenza, my husband called the same practitioner, and when I began to study the passage she gave me to read, I was soon healed, and went about my duties at once. The paragraph is found on pages 470 and 471 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and reads: "The relations, of God and man, divine Principle and idea, are indestructible in Science: and Science knows no lapse from nor return to harmony, but holds the divine order or spiritual law, in which God and all that He creates are perfect and eternal, to have remained unchanged in its eternal history."
