In I Chronicles we read, "Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people." Although I have expressed my thanks at Wednesday evening testimony meetings, I have not hitherto made "known his deeds" through the periodicals. I have received so many blessings and healings through Christian Science that I hardly know where to begin.

My first healing was of smoking. Simply through reading the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I found tobacco becoming distasteful to me. The liking for alcohol took a little longer to heal. In my ignorance I looked upon it as a gift of God, and thought there could be a use and an abuse of everything. I expressed this view to a practitioner, who very soon put me right by referring me to Mrs. Eddy's words concerning strong drink in "Miscellaneous Writings" (pp. 288, 289). Although liquor had had such a hold on me that it had nearly wrecked my home. I was instantaneously healed.

I have twice been healed of an injured tendon in the leg, also of a sprained wrist, cracked rib, toothache, colds, ungovernable temper and other faults of character, but I think the most outstanding healing was of financial difficulties.
