With deep gratitude to God I can say, "Christian Science does solve every problem." My hope is that this testimony may meet the need of one who is looking for help through Christian Science.

I had been suffering periodically from severe pains in my side, and a doctor to whom I went for an examination told me I should undergo an immediate operation. I knew of Christian Science and decided I would rather turn to it in my hour of need. One day while traveling in a strange city I was overcome with pain. I called a practitioner for help, but after a few days I told her I must leave and be on my way. She felt the error had not been destroyed and took me into her home. At the end of two weeks I was entirely healed. I had been suffering in this manner on and off for nearly five years. This healing took place over six years ago and I have never had a return of the difficulty.

Another healing I had was of the effects of an accident. I ran a rusty nail into my foot. I tried to pull it out but could not move it. I turned in thought to "the scientific statement of being" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 468). In that moment of turning away from matter to God I was released from fear and belief in accidents. The nail came out painlessly, and there were no bad effects, not even a trace of the puncture.
