The testimonies published in the periodicals and given at the Wednesday evening meetings always bring peace and healing to me. They bear witness to God's presence, power, and love, for which I am very grateful to Him.

I am thankful that I was open-minded enough to accept Christian Science wholeheartedly when medical science failed to cure me. Its mighty truths, discovered by Mrs. Eddy, healed me completely.

As I progressed in the study of Christian Science, I found I had many lessons to learn. Self-immolation at times seemed difficult to practice, but the revelation of Science showed me how to let God's will, not mine, be done, for which I now rejoice. I learned that forgiveness and love do heal; and I have proved the truth of Mrs. Eddy's words (Science and Health, p. 183), "Obedience to Truth gives man power and strength." I have been healed of fears, confusion, and weariness. Internal injuries, received in an accident, were completely healed, as were sunburn poisoning, sprained ankle, ptomaine poisoning, and many other difficulties. I now understand that demonstration is not victory over human conditions, but is proving man's oneness with God.
