The New House

[Of Special Interest to Children]

A Little girl named Beatrice had for some time been going, every Sunday morning, to the Christian Science Sunday School. One Sunday, taking her seat as usual in the class in which she had been placed, she told her teacher of a problem, which, she said in trying to explain it, "seems like a very big one."

The teacher listened to what Beatrice had to say, which was that her friend Nancy had recently moved into a new house, and that she would like to have a new house too. "And why not?" asked the teacher. "You have been attending Sunday school long enough to know that our real house is to be found in all the lovely thoughts we think about ourself as God's child, and about all His children, for we must always remember that we are the reflection of God, divine Love.

"Like the bright and clear shining rays of the sun, we must reflect Love in all we think and do, each and every day. Let us start with our house of thought and make it more beautiful by sweeping out all thinking that is unlike good.
