Appreciation of our wonderful periodicals impels me to express my gratitude to our heavenly Father at this time. For two years before coming into Christian Science I suffered from nervous prostration, ulcerated stomach, and spinal trouble. Two physicians, who had pronounced my case incurable advised me to go to California. I did this, but two years there did not benefit me.

Returning from California. I was led to take up Christian Science by seeing a man healed of anger through reading Science and Health. I secured the book the evening of the same day, and began reading the chapter on Genesis. When I became conscious of time it was morning. My glasses had been discarded. I knew that I wanted more of Christian Science. I engaged a practitioner, and in three weeks' time was healed of the above ailments.

In 1910 and 1912, I had the privilege of visiting in Boston for several weeks, and the first time I saw our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, several times. I am very grateful to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and to serve in many of the branch church activities. I am grateful also for class instruction from one of Mrs. Eddy's students and for the privilege of attending the annual association meetings. During these many years in Christian Science I have seen a number of diseases healed.
