It is with the deepest love and gratitude to God that I give this testimony. When I came into Christian Science it was to find the true God. How thankful I am for the wonderful help I have received from reading the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy!

Some time before I started studying Christian Science I was visiting in a Christian Science home. While there I had the mumps. The lady said, "If you like, I will read to you and help you." She read from Science and Health, page 430, line 13, to the bottom of page 442. That was on a Saturday. The next day I was completely healed. Since then I have had many healings, including those of bad headaches, supposed to have been hereditary, of appendicitis, of a growth on my eyelid, and of many other difficulties.

I should like to tell of a recent healing. A tooth broke while it was being extracted, and was taken out in pieces. This took some time, and my face was badly bruised. While in the dentist's chair, I held to the twenty-third Psalm, and "the scientific statement of being," as given in our textbook (p. 468). The dentist told me to return to his office in three days. After leaving his office, I called a parctitioner, who helped me. That night I slept. In three days I went back to the dentist. He examined my mouth, and said with surprise that it was almost healed, and with the continued help of the practitioner it was completely healed. I should like to say I was able to eat all my meals without pain. The bruised color left soon, and all was well.
