Church Dedications

Lebanon, New Hampshire (Society).

On September 12, 1943, the members of Christian Science Society, Lebanon, dedicated their church building. The following excerpts are from a talk given at the time of dedication:

"Thirty-five years ago, the first students interested in Christian Science in this locality met to hold services in a home in Mascoma, then known as East Lebanon, New Hampshire. Several months later, in April of 1909, the students came to Lebanon, meeting in a room in the National Bank Block to continue these services and maintain a Reading Room. On February 8 of the following year they became know as Christian. Science Society, Lebanon, New Hampshire, a recognized branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
