The healing power of righteous thinking as taught in Christian Science, and the application of its truths, as elucidated by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, have been a great source of joy, and many times have been helpful in my own experience and that of my family.

One outstanding healing was that of my little girl, who was born with a birthmark on one hand. The healing came slowly, but all vestige of the error has been completely destroyed. This child, who is now eight years old, was also healed of a severe mastoid infection. My two children were healed of chicken pox and measles almost overnight.

One morning, while in the basement of our home, I sprained my back severely. I had to crawl on my hands and knees to telephone a practitioner for help. In a short time the pain had left me, and within a week I could stand erect and walk normally.
