I did not start studying Christian Science for physical healing, but it was presented to me by my brother at the time of the passing on of a loved one. He gave me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and asked me if I would read it. I began reading the chapter on Prayer, and had not read very far before a sense of peace and consolation came over me. I decided that if Christian Science could have this effect upon me, there must be something to it. Consequently I became a student of Science and have been studying it ever since. I placed my little son, then nine years old, in the Christian Science Sunday School, and I started attending the church services. That was thirteen years ago.

Since then I have had numerous healings, but space will not permit my giving them all.

When my mother passed on shortly after I took up the study of Christian Science, the healing truth came to my rescue with its loving, comforting message.
