I should like to add my testimony to the many in the Christian Science periodicals which have been such a help to me.

My acceptance of Christian Science came through the healing of our eldest daughter, when she was about ten years old, of a mastoid condition which had been pronounced so serious by the physician in attendance that he advised a consultation of doctors. A similar case in our family some years previous had proved fatal during the operation. The child did not want the doctors to examine her, and said she wanted a Christian Science practitioner. We had friends who had spoken to us of healings which had been brought about through Christian Science, and I had read some of the literature.

A practitioner was called on a Friday. The following Sunday the practitioner telephoned and said if we would bring the children to Sunday school, she would see that they got home. Before they left for Sunday school a hard, dry substance was discharged from the child's ear.
