Dayton, Ohio (Second Church).
Second Church of Christ, Scientist, Dayton, held morning and evening dedication services in the church edifice, Grand Avenue and Belmont Park, North, on Sunday, July 30, 1944.
This church was recognized as a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, December 29, 1905. A charter from the state of Ohio was obtained June 8, 1906, and the first public service under this charter was held at 125 West Third Street.
