I shall never cease to be grateful...
I shall never cease to be grateful to God that I was directed to Christian Science. Because I was too late to attend a meeting at my own church, I decided to go to a Christian Science church one Wednesday evening. After I heard the testimonies, the thought came to me, If God can do all these things, He can help me.
About twelve years before I had had two major operations for kidney removal. While the operations were supposed to be successful they left a condition in my back that did not heal. It had to be dressed twice daily. Although the doctors were very kind and considerate, they told me that the incision in my back would continue to drain and would never heal.
After attending the Wednesday evening meeting I became more and more interested in Christian Science. When I realized that God is my Life, and that through the power of Love and Truth I too could be healed, I was healed.
