"In a certain place"
There
only is one certain place:
It is not far,
Nor found by weary, toilsome ways—
There, now, we are.
There only is one certain time:
No gulf we know;
The past and future are but dreams—
There is but now.
Oh, teach us in this here and now
Aright to pray;
Communing, praising, knowing Love—
In Jesus' way.
At one with Father-Mother God,
Forever near,
Who guides and guards so tenderly
His children dear.
