Sunday School Notes and Comments

A student in a Christian Science Sunday School asked how she was to use what had been taught her of Christian Science in preparing for an approaching school examination. It was explained that the realization of the constant and available presence of divine intelligence would be a correct basis to work from; that being conscious of the support of divine Love would destroy fear; and that since Truth always expresses itself clearly and accurately, man, as God created him, could not be confused or make mistakes. Fortified with this understanding of divine Principle, the girl passed her examinations with high credit.

We should approach our work of teaching in the Sunday school with absolute dependence on our Father-Mother God.

Many instances could be related of how in the Sunday school the pure or humble thought of the child has perceived with almost startling clearness and alacrity many of the fundamental truths of Christian Science. On page 130of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," we read that the author, Mary Baker Eddy, "has often remembered our Master's love for little children, and understood how truly such as they belong to the heavenly kingdom."
