Reminder
Let
us recall the constancy of him
Who saw the truth where some believed a lie,
For whom the light of God was never dim,
Though shadows lay across Judea's sky.
Still let his message burn within our hearts,
His word illumine every upward way;
The gentle peace that holiness imparts
Be ours to sanctify the dawning day.
Let us acknowledge him who said: "Forgive—
Come, follow me. Salvation shall be yours;
He that believeth on my name shall live."
Today, as yesterday, his word endures;
His healing message cries aloud to all
Who humbly wake to answer at his call.
