For many years I have been receiving the benefits of Christian Science. We were led to the study of it through the healing of our young daughter after the doctors had said she would never be cured. She was permanently healed in less than ten days.

I have experienced almost painless childbirth, and the child grew to womanhood in perfect health. A broken arm was healed in only two treatments without the aid of a surgeon; broken ribs, mumps, measles, whooping cough, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, asthma, sprained ankles, and many other ills have been healed through Christian Science treatment, sometimes with the aid of practitioners and sometimes by our own study; some have been instantaneous, some slow healings.

I am most grateful to God for a healing I received at the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium at San Francisco; for the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; and for class instruction. Words can never express my gratitude to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for all she has done to bring peace and healing to all mankind.—(Mrs.) Minna Bull, San Fernando, California.

It is with joy I wish to verify the testimony of my mother. I am the daughter for whose healing my parents took up the study of Christian Science.

With humble gratitude to God, to our dear Leader, and to Christian Science, I wish to relate some of the healings I have had.

I was about ten years old when this wonderful Science was presented to us. I had never been allowed to attend school, because of a so-called incurable disease. Within two weeks after treatment was taken up, I was healed and able to go to school. I completed my schooling with high honors, and graduated ahead of many children who had started before me. This healing took place over twenty-seven years ago, and has been permanent. A dislocated kneecap, broken thumb, and broken arm were quickly healed without ever having been set by human hands.

In 1927, while traveling on the road, I was suddenly stricken with what was called a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism, the overcoming of which was rather slow for a time. But with the patient and loving help of a practitioner I was healed, when to material sense it seemed I should never walk again. I had been in bed for many weeks, because so much fear was expressed around me by friends who were anxious for me, but within a month after returning home I was back on the road appearing before the public without any difficulty. This healing also has been permanent.

Many times I was protected while traveling. At one time, while I was on stage, a curtain weighing seven hundred pounds fell from its wiring and crashed to the floor, hitting me on the right shoulder. It was very painful, and much fear was displayed by all around me, but I repeated "the scientific statement of being," as given on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and went to my dressing room and worked as I had been taught to do in Christian Science, knowing that there are no accidents in divine Mind. In about one hour I was free from all pain and was able to continue my work, healed. I have had numerous other healings, including those of colds, influenza, and laryngitis.

I am truly grateful for the firm foundation I received in the Christian Science Sunday School. This was indeed a spiritual education for which I shall always be grateful. Mrs. Eddy tells us on page 494 of Science and Health, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." This statement has always been very helpful to me and has been a constant protection. Christian Science has never failed to heal when earnestly applied.
