Christian Scientists have so...

Christian Scientists have so much for which to be grateful to God—the life of Mary Baker Eddy, their churches, the literature, and the many consecrated practitioners—that it is well frequently to pause and realize the vast benefits that are accruing to them hourly and also to the world. Each one has, also, personal benefits for which to give thanks.

For many years Christian Science has been to me a sustaining guide, comfort, and protection, and I wish to express my gratitude for it. It has been a never-failing inspiration to me. I am deeply grateful for the truth which Mrs. Eddy has given us in Science and Health, that man is eternally at one with God, for this is our rock of salvation.

When Christian Science came to my attention, I did not turn to it for physical healing, but for relief from despair, unhappiness, and a sense of frustration. Physical healing came also, but the mental healing has meant much to me. I have been healed of nervous fears, depression, and lack of concentration. I am also grateful for the gradual freedom gained from belief in and fear of human personality. Healings of intense fatigue, catarrh, influenza, rheumatism, and many other ills are cause for thanksgiving.
