More than twenty years ago I was healed of pneumonia after the attending physician had declared I was beyond all human aid. My daughter, who had been nursing me, asked the consent of my husband and eldest son to dismiss the doctor and call a Christian Science practitioner, and they lovingly agreed. My son drove into town and brought the practitioner to see me. The next morning I was free from fever. My face had regained its normal color, and all swelling had disappeared from my face and throat. Within a few days I was able to take my meals with the rest of the family. I have never had a return of this disease.

The Christian Science periodicals have been a source of great happiness to me, and by applying the truth to all my problems I have been able to live an active, happy life. Grief has been overcome, and many other healings, both for myself and for my family, have been experienced.
