"Father-Mother God, all-harmonious"

Christian Science, the final revelation of Truth—of the true nature of God as Father-Mother—has come to this age to deliver humanity from the bondage of sin, disease, and death. For centuries men have called God Father, but until the advent of Christian Science the appellation Mother was seldom, if ever, used for God. In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, writes (p. 332), "Father-Mother is the name for Deity, which indicates His tender relationship to His spiritual creation."

The understanding and realization of this tender relationship comforts and heals. It brings the assurance that God's plan for man is now, as it was in the beginning, wholly good; that neither the nature, purpose, nor the idea of God has changed one iota. No shadow of doubt could remain to the sincere student of Christian Science regarding the truth of the allness of divine Love.
