Ah , woman, who on that first Easter dawn
Came to the tomb and found the Master gone,

You stood beside the open door and wept.
Did you not know his promise would be kept?

Ah, Mary, when there pass beyond our view
Loved human forms, and we would weep like you,

Do we not know, have we not faith to see,
That man expresses Life eternally?

He knows no day of death or resurrection,
He coexists with infinite perfection.

And Truth reveals in the glad Easter story
Man one with God's illimitable glory.
