I am very happy to testify to a beautiful healing which I obtained through Christian Science, and to express my gratitude for this experience.

In September, 1936, I planned to spend my annual holiday at the seaside. For some days I had not been feeling well, out with the preparations for going away and the expectation of the holiday I paid little heed to my feelings. However, on the eve of leaving, I was attacked by congestion of the lungs, and was unable to travel. I immediately asked for help in Christian Science from a practitioner. My family considered the twenty-day holiday to which I was entitled quite inadequate for the cure of an illness of such gravity, and endeavored to persuade me to ask for an extension of leave; but standing firm on the basis that God is Life, and with the loving help of the practitioner, I felt certain of rapid and complete healing.

At the end of the twenty days I was able to return to business completely restored to health, solely as a result of the spiritual work done.
