Having been a member of a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, for ten years, I feel it is time to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me.

In 1931, the doctors said there was no hope for me, because I had just had an operation for goiter, and needed two more, one for gall bladder and the other for tonsils. I knew I was too weak for such an experience, so I turned to Christian Science. Needless to say, I have never had the operations and have recovered from the aftereffects of the first one, through Christian Science treatment.

I have been healed of angina pectoris, pneumonia, yellow jaundice, hay fever, colds, and numerous other ailments. The hay fever and yellow jaundice left when I began studying Science. Up to that time, I had had them seasonally. The healing of angina pectoris was a slow one, because of my intense fear of the disease. I had periodic attacks for several years, and each attack was overcome with the help of a practitioner. The last attack came when I was ill with pneumonia, but during a Christian Science treatment I was healed instantaneously of both diseases and have never had a return of either of them.

For all these healings, and many more, for the tireless work of loving practitioners, for branch churches, and for all the activities of the Church of Christ, Scientist, I am indeed grateful.—(Mrs.) Violet Solberg, Fremont, Nebraska.
