About a year ago, I was forced...

About a year ago, I was forced to leave the university as the result of failing eyesight and a nervous breakdown after the passing on of my beloved mother. Almost all reading had to be discontinued, and great suffering was endured as the result of painful headaches.

In this distressing condition I attended a Christian Science lecture, and was very much uplifted by the lecturer's remarks. It seemed that his every word was spoken directly to me, and I left the auditorium with my faith greatly strengthened. The next morning, while going about preparations for breakfast, getting the children off to school, and my husband to work, I realized that I could not see with the aid of my glasses, and kept trying to adjust them to clear my vision. After everyone had left the house the glasses were taken off, and to my surprise and unspeakable joy I could see perfectly without them. The healing has been permanent.

While the healing of the severe headaches seemed more gradual, it was soon complete. The nervous condition was quickly overcome. There was such a wonderful change that many friends remarked upon it. I have learned to be more loving, patient, and considerate of those about me.
