Christian Science has blessed me since I was a little girl in the grade school. I am now a grown woman leading an active life, and with the best health that I have ever had. As I recall how, on so many occasions, I have been tenderly protected through the understanding that God is our loving Father. I often repeat to myself the words of the Psalmist, "O how love I thy law!"

When Christian Science was first presented to my mother, who was busy with a family of growing children, much healing was needed. As she read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and began to attend regularly the Christian Science church services, many old fears began to disappear and the home became happier. I responded to my mother's improved thought, and whereas I had been very delicate, and, because of this, absent from school for weeks at a time, a change for the better took place. My appetite became normal; I grew stronger, and became the cheeriest kind of child, enjoying school for the first time, and oh, so grateful that our home was becoming brighter! During the next year a stomach trouble was entirely corrected through the aid of a Christian Science practitioner.

When it came time to go away from home to a near-by university, I experienced another healing in that homesickness was dispelled with the understanding that God's ever-present love for me is always entirely sufficient. During these four years I found that God's law of life is omniactive. I do not remember ever missing a class in all those four years. I continued to rely on Christian Science for health and harmony. My campus life was a very happy one. My graduation present from the family was class instruction from an authorized Christian Science teacher, which gave me a better groundwork in the study of Christian Science.
