The following resolution was passed at a meeting of the London Churches of Christ, Scientist, held in Third Church of Christ, Scientist, London, England, on February 14, 1942:

"That this meeting of members of London Churches of Christ, Scientist, convened for the purpose of hearing the annual report of the European Bureau of The Christian Science Publishing Society, extends to the Directors of The Mother Church and the Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society and to the respective Editorial Departments its warm appreciation of their loyalty to our Leader's vision, and their spiritual alertness as manifested in all the periodicals; and it particularly desires to express its gratitude for the lead which the Directors have given, resulting in the firm stand taken by the Monitor and all the periodicals in the present emergency. Many appreciative comments on the Sentinel's new format are heard, and this meeting sees in the present hour great new opportunities unfolding for our movement and pledges its loving support to all the periodicals which are the organs of The Mother Church."
