I am indeed grateful to God for the blessings that have come to me and mine through the study and application of Christian Science.

Twenty-four years ago a fellow worker offered Christian Science to me and assured me that the study of this Science would help me. I did not belong to any church, nor was I interested in what I thought religion had to offer me. His explanation convinced me, however, that I should investigate Science further, and I asked him to take me to a practitioner.

The practitioner advised me that God would heal me if I was willing to be healed. I asked for and received Christian Science treatment, and almost immediately things began to change. I was healed of the smoking habit of ten years' standing, and the desire to use alcoholic beverages, tea, and coffee soon left me. I was also healed of profanity.
