I am very grateful for Christian Science, because I feel it came to me in direct answer to my prayer. It was "man's extremity," in my case. I had prayed that if there was a God, I might find Him. Soon, two copies of the Christian Science Sentinel were sent to me by a person I had never seen. In just reading those two Sentinels I felt lifted spiritually.

I had never done anything very wrong in my life; but in Christian Science I felt a complete regeneration. I have been healed of hemorrhoids and constipation, which I had had since childhood. I also laid aside glasses, which I had worn for fifteen years.

I am grateful also for the joy and happiness that Christian Science has brought me, and I can truly say I have seen a great light. It is my desire to live the gratitude I feel. I am grateful for Mrs. Eddy's beautiful life and for her labors to enable us to know the truth. I am thankful for every Christian Scientist, and for those who are more advanced in understanding than I am.
