God's guidance is of the greatest...

God's guidance is of the greatest importance to us, and it becomes clearer as the sense testimony ceases.

More than two years ago I lived with my family in a country where laws were put into force which curtailed the free education of our children to such an extent that my wife and I went with our problem to God. I am grateful to the divine guidance under which we undertook many human steps. We realized that "grace and Truth are potent beyond all other means and methods," as Mrs. Eddy says on page 67 of Science and Health.

I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who has made it possible for humanity to hear divine Truth. Our condition was like that of men in a sea of distress. For me it was a demonstration of divine Love that somebody answered the last of many letters we had sent abroad, and still more was prepared to give the practical aid necessary to take us out of our dilemma. This seems to us like the deliverances which the Bible records. Through this experience I learned the permanent spiritual value of a demonstration of Truth, and the fact that the greater our gratitude is, the wider the door is open to let in the understanding of God's guidance.
