What gratitude I owe to Christian Science...
What gratitude I owe to Christian Science for the marvelous healing which I had two years ago!
I had been suffering for several years from frequent and severe headaches which no material treatment could heal. My health, already bad, was made worse by stomach trouble caused by an ulcer. I could no longer eat anything, and my strength was depleted. I lost about twenty-six pounds in a short time. Stomach plasters seemed to give me some relief, but it was only temporary. I continued to grow weaker and despaired of being healed. At that time a Christian Science friend who knew of my illness sent me two numbers of The Herald of Christian Science (French edition), which I eagerly read. When I came to the testimonies of healing I found new courage, and said to myself, Why shouldn't I too be healed? The next day I went to see a practitioner, who spoke to me most earnestly and lovingly. When I returned home I sat down at the table and ate the same food as my family, something I had not done for a long time. Since then I have not suffered from stomach trouble, and the headaches have also disappeared. Good health has been established, and I am a totally different woman.
My gratitude to Christian Science and its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, is very great. Through her I have learned to know God's love better. I am also very grateful to the practitioner who gave me treatment with so much love and consecration.
