With much love and gratitude I give this testimony. My experience of about thirty-five years of the study of Christian Science— during which time I have relied only on the teachings of our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy—has proved to me that God is my only physician.

My first healing was of a very severe form of erysipelas. I called on a Christian Science practitioner, who faithfully worked for me for a little over a week, when the healing was complete, and I was able to attend to my home duties. The one hundred and twenty-first Psalm came to me continually during the experience. I was also healed of a severe case of grippe. Through these trials I learned to be more loving and kind to my neighbor, and also more patient.

Another healing occurred while I was preparing a meal. Some grease took fire, causing a big flame to rise, igniting my apron. As I stood fearlessly realizing God's presence, the apron dropped to the floor and burned itself out. I was unharmed, and filled with joy.
