I have been a student of Christian Science for over thirty-two years. I was a member of an orthodox church for twenty years, and loved my Bible, but I never understood it until I read it in the light of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I am very grateful for all the activities of Christian Science. I have been a member of The Mother Church for thirty years, and during that time Science has been my only physician; it has been my comfort in sorrow and my help and guide in all business problems and other perplexities. I cannot explain in words what it means to me.

In 1939 I returned to California to attend to some business, and went to San Francisco to visit a grandson. When I got there I could hardly walk; I kept falling down, and was affected with kidney trouble also. I called a practitioner, who helped me enter the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium in San Francisco. I was there for six weeks, most of the time in a wheel chair. It was a wonderful experience, with much loving service, and love and harmony being expressed by everyone. When I left there I was myself again, and finished the business for which I had gone to California.
