Spiritual Reliance

ALLIDA SWETT

O weary heart, that longs for rest and peace,
And from earth's heavy burdens seeks release,
Know that God's image cannot faint nor fall,
Dominion his, for God is All-in-all.

With thine own strength and courage ebbing low,
Turn to that Mind from whence eternal flow
Life, truth, and love, enduring endlessly.
Be still and know: My grace sufficeth thee.
