New Idea

In a published article a doctor describes one of his patients as "a wholehearted Christian Scientist, who believed she could be cured by faith. She was treated entirely on these lines for many months, after which a relative insisted that I should see her."

Christian Science is not a faith cure, and therefore one who believes she can be cured by faith alone does not comprehend the teachings of Christian Science.

In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy writes (p. 83): "Nothing is more antagonistic to Christian Science than a blind belief without understanding, for such a belief hides Truth and builds on error."
