About ten years ago my husband suffered from very severe pain in the back. We both worked in Christian Science according to our understanding, but the healing did not come. Instead he grew much worse, and could not sit up unless propped with pillows. We asked a practitioner for help, but still the healing was delayed. Discouragement crept in, and my friends who were not Christian Scientists became alarmed and urged me to take him to a doctor. My husband was faced with making the decision, "Choose you this day whom ye will serve." He decided to rely absolutely on Christian Science, and, needless to say, he began to make immediate progress. Within a few weeks he was completely healed.

At this time we had the opportunity of buying a business. Love supplied the finance through many channels. But since the business entailed a great deal of heavy lifting, error argued that it would not be wise to attempt it. The suggestion was handled, and during ten years there was no return of the trouble with the back. Our business was then satisfactory disposed of.

I am deeply grateful for these and numerous other healings, and especially for the spiritual understanding of our Father-Mother God, for the unselfish love and patience of Mary Baker Eddy in giving Christian Science to a needy world, for the loving help given by practitioners, for membership in The Mother Church, and for the Christian Science lectures and periodicals.—(Mrs.)Florence Frances Carter, St. George, Queensland, Australia.
