Twenty-five years ago I was healed of lung trouble through the study and application of Christian Science. My healing was slow, for the fear of tuberculosis was ingrained in me as a young child. My husband was also healed of tuberculosis. We first met in Arosa, Switzerland, where we had been sent in the hope of being cured. But neither of us found healing there. It was only when we turned from materia medica and reliance on climate that Christian Science came to our rescue and healed us completely and permanently. We have seen many other healings in our family. Christian Science has helped us to overcome faults of character, and has taught us to strive to master the false sense of self in every circumstance. One of the greatest blessings that we have experienced is the privilege of class instruction by a faithful teacher.

Our Leader's works bring me a quiet sense of assurance and peace. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her great love for humanity, which inspired her to write "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and her other writings. I know that all eventually will "see the salvation of the Lord."
