What Would Jesus Do?

[Written Especially for Young People]

A YOUNG man stood at the crossroads. Which way should he go? In one direction loomed possibilities of success along many lines; in the other lay opportunities of quite a different nature, but with considerable appeal. He was unable to see clearly which course to take. Refusing to be pushed into one or the other, he paused.

As he paused, he reached out for help in Christian Science. And as he did so, he remembered that Christ Jesus had made the wonderful statement, "I and my Father are one." Such oneness could not be dissolved; neither could its steadfastness be invaded. Through realizing his oneness with the Father, Mind, Jesus was able to accomplish his mighty works. So we, who are in truth God's ideas, forever "jointheirs with Christ," inseparable from the Father, are free to turn to this same Mind in every hour of need. In this divine intelligence lies the answer to every possible problem.

As the young man pondered this great spiritual truth, earnestly desiring to make a right decision, a precious guiding message, a "spiritual intuition" from divine Love, came clearly to his thought in the form of a question: "What would Jesus do?"
