In gratitude for all the help and inspiration I have received from the testimonies in our periodicals, I should like to say how Christian Science has helped me.

When I was a child, the doctors said that if I did not have an operation I should be a semi-invalid all my life. My parents had heard of Christian Science and so obtained treatment for me. I was quickly healed and grew up to be strong and healthy. Since then Christian Science has been my only physician. Measles and scarlet fever were quickly overcome, and on two occasions, when in close contact with those suffering from mumps, I was protected from this ailment. Recently I had a healing of acute poisoning, which developed in the early hours of the morning, but that day I was able to fulfill all my regular duties, and the next day I was completely well. After I had, as I believe, broken, my arm, I was able to continue my work the same day, and suffered little pain or inconvenience. I had no medical aid, but had help from a practitioner for about two weeks, and after some time the arm became strong and normal.

I have also had wonderful protection when driving. On two occasions when it seemed impossible to avoid an accident, I immediately declared the truth, neither I nor the car was touched. I am also very grateful for the help I have had in obtaining employment and in solving financial problems, and for the wonderful plans that have unfolded for me when I looked solely to divine Love to guide me.
