For many years I have been interested in Christian Science. through proofs which have come to my knowledge of its efficacy as a healer of physical difficulties. I did not, however, understand or realize the peace of mind which the beauty of this practical religion brings into one's daily life until I sought the help of a practitioner six years ago, when I was suffering from the effects of poisoning. I then learned to study the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. Through the consecrated and loving work of the practitioner, I was healed in a few days, and soon gained ten pounds in weight.

I was also healed of chronic bowel trouble, from which I had suffered since infancy.

Later, by radical reliance on God as the only healer, I had an instantaneous healing of the effects of a severe fall. A few minutes after the fall I was running downstairs and away to keep an appointment, singing with unbounded gratitude at this further proof of the ever-presence and omnipotence of divine Love. There were no signs that an accident had taken place, though to mortal sense there had been a severe blow upon the body and a sprained ankle.
