Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication
Montana.
The Christian Science radio programs are doing much good in presentiong the healing message of Christian Science. One listener writes, "For months I had carried a feeling of resentment, and such joy and relief as I experienced at the close of your broadcast I'll never be able to put into words." A patient confined in a hospital and not under Christian Science treatment was listening to a Christian Science program when his physician entered the room. The doctor asked him to tune the program in louder, as he wished to hear it. The doctor listened to the entire program, and said he enjoyed it.
Many editors have expressed their appreciation of the Monitor because of its splendid reports on world problems. One editor remarked that he could not get along without the Monitor, for he said he finds everything in it that he needs, and when he has read it he places it on a shelf in his shop and schoolteachers take the papers for use in the school Another editor writes us that The Christian Science Monitor is one of the leading exchanges he takes home for profitable reading. Another writes, "It is a great pleasure to be able to renew our subscription in exchange for advertising. We consider the Monitor one of the very best publications that come to our office and we wish to thank you very much." One editor writes, "We certainly appreciate and enjoy the Monitor and reprint many articles from it with full credit given."
