I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and...
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for the many blessings that have come to me in my daily life through its study and application. I did not come into Christian Science because I needed healing, but because I desired to know the spiritual interpretation of the Scriptures. I began to attend the church services and to read the Christian Science Sentinel. The desire soon came to me to give up medicine, which I did, and I have never returned to it, but have relied wholly on Christian Science these many years and desire no other help. I am convinced that this Science points out the way.
I was healed of an acute attack of dysentery and fever through my own understanding and application of Christian Science. Every claim or suggestion of error was met with the truth of being, until the disease with all its symptoms disappeared and I was healed. Through the help of a practitioner, I was healed of acute inflammation of the bladder many years ago, and this healing has been permanent. Christian Science has healed me of constipation of many years' standing, a sprained ankle, a fractured wrist from a fall on the ice, acute indigestion, tonsillitis, and corns and bunions. Several times I have had teeth extracted without pain. Also I have been healed of despair, grief, sorrow, homesickness, loneliness, and resentment. Christian Science is teaching me how to love my neighbor as myself. For all these healings and many others that I have had, and for the joy, peace, happiness, contentment, and satisfaction which Christian Science is bringing into my daily life, I am deeply grateful.—(Mrs.) Nancy Jamison Jackson, Cleveland, Tennessee.
