In Thy Vineyard

WITH joy I lay my burden down;
Its weary weight is gone.
I gladly take the yoke of Truth
And bear it with a song.

This work that Thou hast given me,
Each task Thy love doth guide,
This service in Thy vineyard, Lord,
Is labor glorified.

Thy day in radiant beauty dawns
Before my awakening eyes;
My feet are winged to sow Thy Word,
I reap in Paradise.
