I have studied Christian Science for about seven years, and I wish to express my gratitude for it. I feel that it is because of my study of Science and the application thereof that I have manifested much health and strength.

I was attracted to Science by the poems in some of the periodicals. When I read our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, my sense of what Truth should be was satisfied. It seemed a radical step to leave the church that I had attended since childhood, but our textbook tells us (p. 28), "In conscience, we cannot hold to beliefs outgrown." My health seemed to be failing before I began the study of Christian Science, but it was not long before much fear was cast out of my thought, and I felt strong and well. Tendencies to have severe, frequent colds, fainting spells, weakness, and pain have been overcome in my experience. I feel sure that my children have more protection from sickness than they would enjoy were it not for my understanding of Science. I am grateful for the wise direction, peace of mind, and freedom from worry which I now have.

I am grateful for The Mother Church with its many branches, and the opportunity they afford for doing good in the world today; and I am grateful for the healing the Christian Science periodicals are bringing to the people of all nations.—(Mrs.) Glenn E. Person, Norton, Kansas.
