The Gift of Love
Into
this day that seemed so dark and dense
Love's light has shone,
Causing the shadows of old fears
To vanish, one by one.
Out from the heart of Love
Has come the clear command:
Arise, beloved child of God,
Fear not, arise and stand!
What though the claims of error shout
Their false and futile lies?
Love's arms uphold you tenderly;
Love guides and purifies;
Love gives you peace instead of pain;
Love leads you safely through
The seething waters of dark fear;
Love lifts and strengthens you.
Cling fast to Love;
Then you will surely see
That health and joy dwell with you
Constantly.
