For many years I have read the testimonies of healing in our periodicals and have received much benefit. I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and the many blessings I have received since becoming a student.

Christian Science is indeed the "pearl of great price," which I prize more and more as I gain a fuller understanding of the truth and of Jesus' work among men. Christ Jesus said, "I am the light of the world." Realizing that it is through Christian Science that I have gained this light, which "shineth in darkness" and brightens my pathway, I am profoundly grateful for this Science and for our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who discovered and founded it.

I have had many proofs of God's love and care during the years. I should like to tell of the healing of a very severe case of blood poisoning. What appeared to be a blister which had formed on my hand became very sore. After a few days I realized I was not meeting the case, so I called a practitioner, who lovingly took up the work. The condition continued to grow worse, inflammation extending up the arm to the elbow.
