Seven years ago I became interested in Christian Science. I was in very poor health, and had been attended by many doctors throughout the United States, but they had failed to help me. They had diagnosed the case as nervous indigestion, anemia, and thyroid trouble.

However, I did not come into Christian Science for physical healing. I had a desire to know God, and to find salvation. I not only was restored to good health, but gained a demonstrable understanding of God and man. I am indeed grateful to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this true religion; for the branch churches and societies; for Reading Rooms; for teachers, practitioners, nurses, and the literature; also for membership in The Mother Church, and especially for class instruction.
